TMCS Community Care and Conscience Research Institute parter to provide the Intentional Dad - iDAD Program, an immersive cohort and support group that focuses on developing sustainable and meaningful connections between fathers and their children.
iDAD Comprehensive Needs of Fathers Program
A Partnership with Omicron Tau Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
TMCSCC is partnered with the brothers of Omicron Tau (OT) to serve as iDAD Advocates and deliver the iDAD Fatherhood program. The program will also incorporate components of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Brother You’re On My Mind program (BYOMM). TMCSCC will provide care coordination and community-based service components.
The program will serve at least 45 fathers in St. Lucie and Indian River counties. If you are interested in the program or know a father who would benefit from the program please click the button below and fill out our confidential referral form.
Program Criteria
The iDAD program is designed for all fathers, but the Comprehensive Needs of Fathers program includes specific eligibility criteria:
Primary Criteria
- Father (biological, adoptive, step, or those serving in a father role) with children 17 years old and younger.
- Resident of St. Lucie, Indian River or Martin County
Secondary Criteria:
- Recipient of TANF &/or SNAP
- Recipient of re-employment assistance
- Previously incarcerated
- Non-custodial parent with child support orders
Program Benefits
The program will provide fathers with individualized care coordination and wraparound services to address challenges related to:
- Employment and job readiness
- Parenting skills & family relationships
- Housing stability & basic needs
- Mental Health & Self-care
- Legal issues, including child support & custody assistance
- Life skills development
Overall, the program provides a cohort-based, peer-led safe space for fathers and men!

Community Involvement
One of the key components to the success of the iDAD program is the support provided through the peer group cohort. Group sessions are considered "judgment-free" safe spaces for fathers to open up about shortcomings and share successes.

The iDAD program also focuses on using community service to strengthen the bond between fathers and their children. A community service event is a standard activity for each cohort.
